my favorite things opening

Please join us this Saturday, February 27, 7-10PM as we revamp our wood stain gallery with a new collection of 6in. x 12 in. originals focusing on the theme of "My Favorite Things". Inspired by just that, this group show will have lots of fun and wonderful things to marvel at and purchase.

JUST ADDED: We will also be having a Saturday edition of our Street Food Fridays with the Creme Brulee Cart, the Magic Curry Kart, the Pizza Hacker, Soul Cocina, and Good Foods Caters, starting at 6PM.

systemic: new works by brian barneclo

Our next show in the fabric8 Galleries will be a solo exhibition by painter and muralist Brian Barneclo. Titled "Systemic", it will explore the concept of interconnectivity in urban, social, and cultural systems, as well as mark the launch of his Systems Mural Project, a 2400-square-foot public work he is raising funds for. The show will open Friday, March 5, so mark your calendars!

Thanks again to everyone who came to our Anniversary Show Opening and Party a few weeks ago. It was tons of fun! Here are a few pix of the festive party-goers. You can see them all on our Facebook photo album.

14 mission by andy stattmiller

This super-quirky painting of San Francisco's famed MUNI bus lasted about 3 hours in our gallery. If you've ever ridden the 14 Mission, it should bring back some oddly fond memories.

The fun and funky smaller pieces still revolve through our gallery walls despite our online negligence, and we will try much harder this year to keep this blog updated with the good stuff.

That said, here are the latest 8x8s by Seattle-based artist Ninjagrl. As always, you can email us for inquiries or to purchase.
